Founder & Clinical Director

Lisa founded this practice in 2008 with a simple belief: that everyone deserves compassionate, expert care tailored to their unique journey. With over 30 years of experience and a wide range of certifications, she brings both deep clinical knowledge and genuine warmth to every client she works with.

Kara Brower MSW, LSW

Kara is a Licensed Social Worker who creates a calm, trauma-informed space where clients feel truly understood. Drawing on CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based approaches, she works with children, teens, adults, and parents navigating life’s most overwhelming moments. Kara believes healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken — it’s about building the space for growth and resilience to flourish.

Vanessa Cholish, LCSW

Vanessa provides a confidential, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment where clients can safely explore their thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences. She is a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist with specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, as well as a background as a former high school teacher. She works effectively with both individuals and groups, creating spaces that foster insight, growth, and meaningful change.

Susan Devlin, MSW, LSW

Susan brings a truly unique combination of over 30 years of executive coaching experience and clinical counseling practice to her work with clients. As both a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and Associate Certified Coach (ACC), she blends clinical insight with real-world professional expertise — helping clients navigate personal challenges, career transitions, and everything in between. Susan works with all age groups and creates a safe, strengths-based space where lasting change becomes possible.

Kathleen is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University in 2008. She brings extensive experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Her work is grounded in a compassionate, strengths-based approach that prioritizes emotional safety, collaboration, and meaningful growth. She has significant experience with behavioral challenges, school refusal/avoidance, and children with developmental disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Trained in CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and the Nurtured Heart Approach®, and certified in trauma through Rutgers & Montclair, she creates a safe, collaborative space where meaningful change begins.

Jackie is a Board Certified Life Coach and Student Intern pursuing her Master’s degree in Counseling at TCNJ, bringing over a decade of experience in personal growth and emotional wellness. As the creator of The Untangled Blueprint, she helps clients identify emotional patterns, strengthen boundaries, and navigate life transitions with clarity and self-trust. Jackie believes that real change begins with understanding yourself — and she’s here to help you do exactly that.

Sheila Conforti, Student Intern

Sheila is a Counseling Intern completing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at TCNJ, working toward licensure under the supervision of Lisa Ligammari. Drawing from CBT, mindfulness, narrative therapy, and play therapy, she creates a warm, nonjudgmental space for clients of all backgrounds and life stages. Sheila has a special interest in supporting those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, postpartum challenges, and life transitions — and believes therapy is a powerful tool for honoring our truest selves.
